Founded in January of 2018 by Dave and Darcie Rochon, Escape Salon Suites was built on a clear vision. The Rochons recognized a growing need in the St. Croix Valley for a place for talented stylists seeking the next step toward independence, creativity, and business ownership.

Darcie’s journey in the beauty industry began decades earlier. In 1993, she purchased her first salon, launching a career defined by leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Over the years, Darcie has owned seven salons, many earning national recognition for excellence. In 2007, she became a certified business coach, combining real-world experience with a passion for mentoring. Her focus has always been helping stylists develop the confidence, skills, and mindset needed to become successful entrepreneurs.

In 2023, the Rochons expanded their vision by introducing a hybrid employment model created for stylists who desire independence but may not yet be ready for full salon ownership. The Salon at Escape allows stylists to set their own schedules and prices while benefiting from a flexible, supportive structure. When the time is right, stylists can seamlessly transition into renting their own suite, creating a natural path toward business ownership.

Today, the Rochons divide their time between Hudson, Wisconsin and Fort Myers, Florida, bringing a broad perspective and deep industry experience to the community they proudly serve.
